Erica & Chase, March 3, 2012

The night was set in candlelight and market lights to create a country twilight ambiance. Touches of birdcages were put throughout the ceremony and reception, to symbolize lovebirds. A windy, but cool evening; dusk began to set to create the perfect romantic evening for Erica and Chase's vows.

Moss blew in the wind as the wedding party flowed down the aisle.

The bridesmaids wore different colors of fuchsia pinks, each looking beautiful in their own shade and style.

Sunken rosebuds, drew the way for our bride down the aisle.

Family was very important to our bride and groom, so we added pictures of family members and their years growing up, throughout the reception.

The brides bouquet. This is actually my own design and creation. I added a bird charm to the side of the bouquet to add that small charming detail.

Nicole Ferguson did Erica's make-up and hair - and she did a beautiful job! Erica's eyes were smokey gray, which made her green eyes glow.

Such a fun night! Watch as the bride gets her moves on.

Such a beautiful couple! I would like to Thank Erica and Chase for the opportunity to plan my first wedding from start to finish. Much to my delight, I had so much fun being the event planner and adding the special touches. I would also like to thank Tammy, Jordyn, Danielle, and everyone one else who contributed to making this wedding a success! I couldn't have done it without their support and teamwork.
Erica was such a wonderful bride to work with and I know this couple will have many happy years to come. Congratulations to the groom and best wishes to our bride!

How to Choose the Right Eyeliner Color

Now that we have already talked about the right eyeliner for your eye-shape, it's important to also have the right color to make your eyes pop!

For the Brown Eyed Belle - Your the lucky one. You can wear just about any color and get away with it! The deeper your skin tone, I would lean more toward the Purples. For the More fair Skin tones, some where in the blue shades like turquoise. A dark brown or black is always a bold classic.

For Blue Eyed Beauties- For a strong contrast a green would make you stand out. Browns, and coppers are the best neutral options.

For the Green eyed Goddess- Green eyes can rock any shade of purple and make a statement. This is one of my personal favorite looks to do on someone with green eyes. Also shades of navy blue are a pretty contrast. For more natural liner brown or black would work.

For Hazel Eyed Hotties- Since Hazel seems to me most similar to browns or greens, it depends on which shade you want to bring out in your eye. If You want them to look more green use a plum purple, if you want them to look more brown try a deep color, for best results a dark brown or black.

Here's Mine, Pretty boring.. I Could have done something more bold. I chose Navy.

Summer Bold Beauty - inspiration board

Oooh lala! My eyes did a DANCE when I beheld this color combination!
I envy the upcoming bride with spring/summer weddings, because these hues have definitely stepped into style and have told those boring black and white color combinations to move aside!
Poppy coral, bubble gum pink, mint teal, and fluorescent yellow:
I think of happy summer love - with a hint of some attitude and bold beauty.
Make way for color, because here she comes!

Blush in the Nude - Inspiration boards

Through the pages of fashion, my inspiration was awakened by the simplicity of blush and nude colors for this up-coming spring season.

For the fashion-forward bride, keep your eyes open for sheer fabrics, peek-a-boos with lace and slits, ballerina styles, new necklines, and sleeves! Thank you, Sarah Burton, for bringing this timeless classic back!

White has runaway into the history pages and has been replaced with sheer elegance.
