Ugly day? Stressed out? Time for a Crepe Party!

Blah - winter is here and perhaps you hate those gray boring days as much as I do. If you're busy worrying about weddings or life in general, how about throwing a crepe party with some good friends? Get your mind off things and relax - it's really simple too!

For drinks, serve coffee, hot cocoa, water, and milk

Crepes are delicious hot off the pan! Yum!!

The great thing about crepes, is you can fill them with just about anything you imagine! For this party, we served a cream cheese topping, peanut butter, and blackberry or strawberry jam! Next, everyone fills the middle of their crepe with fruits to choose from. One girl even suggested nutella and bananas together - yum! This is a wonderful way to bring friends closer together with warm delights and some great laughts. Get your mind off the cares of this world - have a good time and relax!

Here's the recipe - enjoy!

Pixies and Pirates Birthday Party

What a bitter-sweet experience it meant to plan my daughter's first birthday party! I can hardly believe that a year has gone by and am also so full of joy with each day I spend with her.
I have to give out some blog love - first of all, to Jeff Jones for doing an incredible job with capturing the moment wit his business, SnapitPhotography; thank you so much for the pictures!

I am so happy with the way these invitations turned out,
thank you so much for all your beautiful work!

Each little girl received a pair of fairy wings, pixie dust, and a fairy-wand! I thought it was especially cute that the wands had bells insides - so the girls sounded like fairies running through the forest.

Salted caramel cupcakes were a rich delight! I still say you should start your own business, Beka! Your cupcakes were such a hit - thank you!

Alice in Candyland

Get a sugar rush for this adorable Alice in Wonderland theme birthday! In my free time, I enjoy googling over cutsy ideas and found this first picture that inspired everything. I stitched together inspiration and ideas from other websites to complete a full concept for Alice in Candyland.

{Source and Purchase: Rompers & Balloons}

Musn't fall down the rabbit hole like Alice!

Have a hint of the Queen of Hearts with rose lights attached to your shrubs!

As a game, have the girls play a sporting game of Wonderland Croquet!

What is any Wonderland party without Alice?? It brings back childhood memories of visiting the Magic Kingdom and having that magical moment of being noticed. Have Alice sign autographs or do face painting to interact during the party!

Have each little girl receive a "Mad Hatter Headband" as a party favor when they enter the party!

These invitations are come with sparkly Mad Hatter Paper hats attached.

Every princess needs a chair.
